Crystal was born and raised in Eureka, Missouri.  After graduating from Eureka High School, Crystal attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.  While at Truman, Crystal volunteered as a tutor for the Ray Miller Elementary Tutoring Program, and as Student Ambassador with the Truman Admissions Office.  She was also a member of S.T.A.R.S. and Alpha Sigma Gamma Service Sorority.  Crystal received her B.A. in History from Truman State University in May 2000.  In August 2000, Crystal began law school at the University of Kanas School of Law in Lawrence,  Kansas.  Rock Chalk!  Crystal was active while in law school.  She was a member of the University of Kanas Law Review, Judge Hugh Means Inn of Court, and Women in Law.  She also worked for a local bankruptcy attorney assisting with Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy filings.  And was a proud season ticket holder for KU Men's Basketball as a student.  There is nothing like experiencing a Kansas versus Mizzou Men's Basketball game in Allen Fieldhouse.  Crystal graduated from law school in May 2003.  After three long months of non-stop studying, Crystal took and passed the Missouri bar exam in July 2003.  She was sworn in as a member of the Missouri Bar at the Missouri Supreme Court in September 2003.  Her legal career began with a law firm in Creve Coeur, Missouri in collections and State Farm subrogation cases.  After three short months, she started practicing family law in St. Charles County in December 2003.  Since then Crystal has gone on to start her own law practice in 2008 on Main Street in St. Charles City; and her practice is currently located off North Second Street in historic St. Charles.  She lives with her husband and daughter in St. Charles, Missouri.  Crystal is active in the St. Charles community by serving on the St. Charles County Family Resource Center Board of Directors, co-leading her daughter's Girl Scout Troop, and volunteering as needed within the Orchard Farm School District.
